The founder behind Inkling

Newsletters are where the experts write. Agents should be able to read them.

Inkling comes from the same company as Sputnik Intelligence, which follows newsletters and podcasts. Inkling takes the newsletter archive and makes it simple: a place to read, and a door for your agent.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Inkling?

Inkling is a collection of the issues of nearly 18,000 public newsletters (nearly 2 million issues, back to 2000, mostly Substack and similar newsletters), kept up to date hourly. You can read them in a web app, and your AI agent can read them over an MCP server.

Which newsletters are included?

Public newsletters, mostly on Substack and similar platforms. We do not have every newsletter that exists. Only free, public content is included: for paywalled posts, you get the free preview.

Can I search the text of every issue?

Not today. You search newsletters by name, open one, and read its issues. Your agent can list a newsletter's issues and fetch any issue in full as markdown.

What does my AI agent get?

Four tools: search newsletters by name, get one newsletter, list its issues, and fetch a full issue as markdown with YAML frontmatter (title, newsletter, author, date, permalink, word counts).

Can I sign up?

Not yet. Inkling is in early access and signups are closed. Request access and we will get in touch.

Are prices including VAT?

Yes. Prices are in US dollars, per month, and include VAT.
