Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of Inkling. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Last updated: October 26, 2026.

Who we are

The service

Inkling gives you, and the AI agent you connect, access to the issues of public newsletters: a web app to search newsletters by name and read their issues, and an MCP server. It is for business use. The service changes over time, and features may be added, changed or removed.

No warranty, no guarantees

Inkling is provided as is and as available, with no warranty and no guarantees of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that data will not be lost, or that it will fit your purpose.

We do not guarantee any result from using Inkling. This includes that any newsletter or issue is included, that the archive is complete or current, that issue text is accurate, and anything you decide as a result of what you or your AI assistant read.

You are responsible for checking anything you publish or send to others, including anything written with the help of an AI assistant.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for what happens under it. You must be able to enter into these terms on behalf of your business.

Newsletter content and your data

Newsletter issues remain the property of their authors and publishers. You may read them and use them with your AI agent for your own research and work; you may not resell them or republish them. You own anything you create from them. See the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Inkling to break the law, to harass anyone, to copy the archive in bulk, or to attack or overload the service.

Trial, billing and cancellation

Access is currently by request. Plans will have a 15-day free trial and are then billed monthly through Stripe. Prices include VAT. You can cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Prices may change; we will tell you in advance.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Inkling at any time. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. If we end the service, we will give notice and a way to export your data where we can.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell account holders by email. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
